BANDIT was formed waaaaay back during the late 1970′s, and eventually broke up in the early 1980′s as the members pursued careers and family life. Fast forward to 2009 — one phone call from one member led to one jam session, one jam session led to many jam sessions, many jam sessions led to playing a class reunion for free; and that one free gig has led to BANDIT playing venues all over the south LA, as well as Shreveport and Lake Charles. BANDIT is made up of 4 original members (Kevin Martin – guitars/vocals, Blayne Bergeron – vocals, Kevin Forshag – bass/vocals, and Gregg Graffagnino – drums) and Jimmy Trant rounds the group out on keyboards/vocals. We pride ourselves in putting on a great show with lots of energy and crowd participation, as well as great musicianship. We cover a wide variety of classic rock, oldies, Motown, pop, and some country. Voted “Best Local Band” in 2011 and 2012 by readers of the Houma Courier and Daily Comet, we have become one of the most requested bands in this area.
This humbled GA boy plays the music that he wants and it don’t matter if it sounds a little rock, it comes out Country. Ben Wells grew up in a small town right outside of Valdosta, GA playing locally in and out of church. He eventually made his way on the nearby bar stages which has now transformed into a fan base that reaches all across the U.S. This country rocker has completed over 250+ tour dates in less than 2 years and accumulated a tremendous following that continues to grow. Ben, only 6 months prior, released his debut self-titled album which reached #26 on the National Country Charts (iTunes).
